Honestly, I have yet to use the Saw (haven't gotten around to that project yet), but I have used the drill to drill into some concrete.The Hammerdrill functionality works great.The Drill and saw both have brakes on them a nice feature.

I would buy this set again.

Update 6/2/10: I used the saw on some pickets for a fence.No problems with cutting or battery life.
