(More customer reviews)My husband and I are in the process of building a shop/barn with living quarters and have purchased quite a number of power tools this year.One of our staples is his worm drive by Skil.However, this wonderful saw is a bit heavy for me to be slinging about for every little cut on siding or sheathing so he bought me the Clarke saw for Christmas.Yes, ladies, I like tools.

The power is about perfect - easily cuts 3/4 inch siding sheets.Any more power, and an uncomfortable kick back might become an issue.

The handle, while it at first appears a bit bulky, isn't a problem at all.I have small hands and adjusted to the feel pretty quickly.It is really more of a "two hands" kind of saw anyway.

The only complaint we have is the safety button for the plastic shield - it is a bit hard to push.I just bypass it and depress the little silver metal piece directly.

A wonderful little saw - has saved my elbow considerable tendonitis aggrivation and allowed quick and easy cuts at what would be awkward sizes and angles for a larger saw.
