(More customer reviews)This is a shameless copy of the Forrest Woodworker2 blade.It works on the same principle: use a lot of carbide, grind an aggressive bevel, and make it razor sharp.This way, you can get away with fewer teeth and stillhave that glassy cut.It crosscuts, and cuts off equally well.Forrestdoes a slightly better factory sharpening job, though, but they should forover $100!Buy this blade and you probably will never need another.Worthevery penny.

I sold this blade along with my Shopsmith a few years ago. I now have a Ridgid 2400LS table saw. The general purpose blade I use now is a thin kerf Freud I found at Home Depot for $40. It works just as well, and seems to give the saw more power due to the thin kerf design. There is no penalty in the thin kerf blade, in my opinion. Maybe if you're going to run wood diagonally across your table saw to cut coves for molding, the full kerf blade would be good, but otherwise, a thin kerf blade has the effect of giving an extra 1/2 hp. The cuts with the $40 Freud thin kerf are as clean as this $100 "Fusion" blade, in my experience.

The Freud 10-inch 40-tooth hyper-finish fusion saw blade features laser-cut blades from high strength steel and a revamped body design that features anti-vibration slots to render the blade acoustically dead. The lack of resonance results in a blade that not only runs quieter, but also vibrates less. A new anti-vibration design virtually eliminates all vibration and produces the cleanest cuts possible, making the use of a stabilizer unnecessary.
