(More customer reviews)The Sonicrafter tool itself is a very high quality item, as are many of the accessories - MANY but NOT all. I've found that the various blades offered for use with the tool are very expensive and far too expensive for the quality. I wouldn't mind spending the money if the blades were worth the price. These blades do not do all of the jobs they're designed for and when you consider the cost of the blades it's a double whammy. They simply do not hold up well at all and Rockwell needs to correct this ASAP. The performance of the accessories is key to being able to use the Sonicrafter for multiple jobs and I happen to need the blades for a number of different projects. I surely hope Rockwell takes notice of this problem, because many reviews of various blades are negative in nature and for good reason. A rule of thumb that I now follow is to take what the blades are supposedly designed to do and lower it by a notch or two. That eliminates some of the things you can use the blades for, but you also won't be ruining blades the first time you use them. C'mon Rockwell - where in the world is the quality control?
