(More customer reviews)Don't even try using shears to cut fiber cement siding. These blades do a great job and they last a long time. We did 2000 square feet of 12" Hardie siding with a single blade. and it was still cutting cleanly at the end. Forget the notcher and the shears: just set up a cutting station on sawhorses with a circular saw and this blade, and you can go pretty quickly (assuming you know how to cut a straight line with a circular saw).
