Fits into the slot in the Festool 491498 55 inches Guide Rail FS 1400 (there are a bunch of lengths and accessoreis for he guide rail system that this works with),
Works very well as a limited range wood clamp.

The bad:
If the swivel on the end gets stiff or locks up it can mar the wood,
Pretty pricy and only worth the money if you have bought into the Festool system.

The ugly:
The swivel at the end needs occasional lubrication or it binds.That's the problem that the other reviewer seems to be having.

Overall a nicely designed clamp for the money.

They are high quality except for one thing:When I tried to put two tracks together to make an extra long track, using the festool connecting links, the tracks do not form a straight line.I found that the ends of the tracks are not cut perfectly square.Festool customer service gives no answer. For the price I expected more than this.

(More customer reviews)Initially I bought this blade based on the price point.After using it to make some cabinets, I would buy this blade at full price with no hesistation.Using the TS55 saw will yield chip free cuts in itself so how can adding this blade to an excellent saw yield noticeable results?The edges were the sharpest I've ever had them.The blade kerf is substantially thicker and over-all much heaver than a stock 48 tooth Festool blade.

Both blades cut equally well and I actually found the Freud lasts longer as it doesn't gum up as much when cutting plywood.

Some people claim this blade won't resharpen as well as many time as the Festool blades.While I have no experience resharpening either blade yet, I am skeptical that the difference is meaning ful in practice.
